HEARTH ENSEMBLE
CHAMBER FOLK MUSIC

About
“Like watching a flock of birds, swooping and diving, but never crashing into each other”.
“…sweeping in its warmth and wrap-around welcome, it feels like the music is a glowing light.”
“Their blend of original classical and acoustic folk created a powerful and moving fusion of genres that captivated the audience and filled our hall with energy.”
At home in the borderlands between indie folk and chamber music, Hearth Ensemble is a project of composer, arranger and musician Carlo Tayler. Exploring themes of light and warmth, connection and community, and the insights that come from quiet time spent around a fire; it’s about finding a place to call home in the world and about coming home to yourself.
The Ensemble features:
Carlo A Verdicchio Tayler - guitars, banjo, piano, voice, composition, and arrangements.
Colin McFarland - violin
Raphael Weinroth-Browne - cello
Vicente Garcia - upright bass
&
Allyson Tayler - percussion and vocals
